The free service is more restrictive than BW (limited to 1 device). I do think these will be improved in time as the service matures. However, there are still weird kinks, or unintuitive moments while using it side by side with BW. Nordpass is still new in the market so it has room to grow but it definitely looks prettier and the design is more well thought out so in certain respects it feels more pleasant to use.
Like most open source products though, the design and user experience can sometimes feel a lil clunky or inelegant but it's minor enough that I can look past it. You get almost all the important features with just the free version, including multiple device use. It's like this reliable service I can trust and forget about. Short comparison: BW is more function over form, while NP is more form over function.īW is a more rounded, mature product and feels more comprehensive than NP.
BW I've been using for years, NP I signed up a couple of months ago out of curiosity after I ditched Lastpass for good.
